Shots fired call reported near 217 East 6th Avenue in Buckeye, Arizona.
Maricopa County Sheriff’s Deputies are responding.
[MCSO Update]: On Monday, 12/05/2022, just before 9:30PM, Maricopa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a shots fired call near 217 East 6th Avenue East in Buckeye. Upon arrival, Deputies discovered a single vehicle parked on the roadway with two gunshot wound victims located inside. Deputies began rendering aid, until fire/medical personnel arrived.
Both occupants were transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. The female victim identified as 19-year-old Emilie Gomez was later pronounced deceased at the hospital. The 19-year-old male victim remains in the hospital. MCSO Homicide Detectives are investigating this case, there is no more information for release at this time, according to Sgt. Joaquin Enriquez, Public Information Officer with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
