Red Cross Assisting after Two Home Fires Tonight

Volunteers from the American Red Cross Grand Canyon Chapter are assisting families in two different Valley cities tonight after home fires, according to Trudy Thompson Rice, communications officer for the American Red Cross Grand Canyon Chapter.

A fire in Glendale, in the area of 67th Ave. and Camelback Road, displaced at least 12 individuals, 10 of them children. A fire in Scottsdale, in the area of 92 Street and Shea Blvd, displaced three adults. The Red Cross will ensure those who lost their homes will have shelter, food and clothing to meet their immediate needs.
