A system outage has caused Southwest Airlines to hold departing flights. Flights in the air are not affected, according to a tweet posted on the company's Twitter account.
Due to equipment/computer issues (Non-FAA), departure traffic destined to ALL airports will not be allowed to depart until at or after 06:00 UTC (11:00 PM MST), according to the Air Traffic Control System Command Center (FAA).
